Ah wow, what a surprise! Thank you for the lovely gift. I really do enjoy the lanterns - such creative and wonderful designs (and they're orange). I really enjoy how simplistic the background is - I think that the picture has just enough detail to offset and if it were complex, it might be too overwhelming. My favorite part is the dust/shinies lit by the lanterns.

You've drawn shin so wonderfully here - that curly tail, those long legs, that fluffy chest, and those dark rusty reds! I really like the positioning of his wings and that peaceful face.
